What is AS 3745-2010?
Australian Standard AS 3745-2010 sets out the requirements for planning for emergencies in facilities. It covers the preparation of emergency plans, the training of emergency control organisations, and the production of evacuation diagrams for a wide range of building types.
Unlike the STRA Fire Safety Standard which applies specifically to short-term rental accommodation, AS 3745 applies to commercial, industrial, and other residential facilities.
If your property or facility requires evacuation diagrams but is not a short-term rental, we can still help. Our diagrams meet all AS 3745 requirements.

STRA vs AS 3745 — what's the difference?
STRA Fire Safety Standard
Applies to short-term rental accommodation (Airbnb, Stayz, etc.) in NSW. Required for obtaining a PID number from Planning NSW.
AS 3745-2010
Australian Standard applying to commercial, industrial, and other residential facilities. Required for general emergency planning compliance.
